Lebanon Crisis Appeal
War has forced over 1 million people from their homes. Help us protect what remains.
A Worsening Humanitarian Catastrophe
As the war in Gaza rages on, Israeli airstrikes have now devastated southern Lebanon, triggering mass displacement and widespread destruction. The Lebanese government estimates that nearly 1 million people—around 20% of the country’s population—have been forced to flee their homes.
In just two days—September 23 and 24—more than 250 warplanes dropped 2,000 missiles, killing over 558 people, including 50 children, and injuring 1,835 others.
Who Is Most Affected?
- 35% of displaced people are children
- 52% are women and girls
- Thousands are stranded without shelter, food, or medicine
- Public infrastructure has collapsed under the pressure of displacement and economic crisis
Many families now live in crowded, unsafe conditions, with no clean water, food, or sanitation. Without immediate aid, the situation will spiral further into crisis.
Lebanon Can’t Face This Alone
Already burdened by years of crisis—including the Syrian refugee influx, the Beirut port explosion, cholera outbreaks, and an economic collapse—Lebanon is at a breaking point.
This escalation is pushing a fragile nation over the edge. We must act now.
