Yemen Emergency Appeal
Ten years of war. Twenty-one million lives in crisis. Help can’t wait.
The World’s Worst Humanitarian Crisis
After a decade of devastating war, Yemen remains the largest humanitarian crisis on Earth. Over 21 million people—two out of every three Yemenis—urgently need humanitarian aid.
Almost 4 million people have been forced to flee their homes, while hunger, disease, and economic collapse tighten their grip on an already shattered nation.
A Brutal and Ongoing Emergency
Since 2015, the conflict between the Saudi-led coalition and the Ansar-Allah movement (Houthis) has killed over 12,000 civilians and destroyed Yemen’s infrastructure—including schools, hospitals, and roads. A 2022 ceasefire brought only fragile relief. Today, the suffering continues.
- Half of all health facilities are not functioning
- More than half of Yemenis don’t have enough to eat
- 2.7 million children are acutely malnourished
- Cholera and other deadly diseases are spreading due to collapsed water systems
- Millions live in makeshift camps, with no clean water, little food, and no medicine
