Bangladesh Rohingya Refugee Crisis
Forced to flee. Forgotten by the world. You can be their light.
Emergency Appeal: Help Rohingya Families Survive
Since August 2017, over 700,000 Rohingya refugees have fled unimaginable violence in Myanmar—seeking safety in southeastern Bangladesh. Many arrived with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Today, they are trapped in overcrowded camps, with more than 600,000 people crammed into a single settlement, far beyond its capacity.
Among them:
- Over half are women and girls
- 60% are children under 18
- Thousands are injured, traumatized, and without support
A Crisis of Survival
The camps are dangerously overcrowded. Families live in flimsy shelters made of tarpaulin and bamboo—completely exposed to monsoon rains, flooding, and landslides. Sanitation is collapsing. Water is contaminated. Diseases spread fast.
At night, darkness and fear take over.
Camps remain unlit and unsafe, and women and girls are at constant risk of abuse and trafficking.
This is no place for a child to grow up. No place for anyone to feel safe.
